The inspiration for this event will be our mutual admiration for LA and SF through music and food. A prix fixe, seven course menu will be served within a dining space that exudes the true essence of what LA and San Francisco are, was, and what will be.

The Cook, The Thief, His Wife and Her LoverThe Liquor Store cordially invites you to attend our next experiential pop-up supper, "The Cook, The Thief, His Wife and Her Lover" on Saturday, October 21st, 2017. Our theme for this month will be the brutal and stunning 1989 Peter Greenaway cinematic masterpiece by the same name. A prix fixe eight-course tasting menu will be served within a dining space that has been dramatically staged to mimic the elegance (and horror) of the titular cook's restaurant, "Le Hollandais" all while Michael Nyman's haunting score sets the mood.
We encourage all guests to watch "The Cook, The Thief, His Wife and Her Lover" and come dressed in an elaborate ensemble inspired by legendary costumer and designer Jean-Paul Gautier.
